Page Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal diagnoses from work related or sports related injury, neck/back pain, sprains and strains, pre and post surgery, degenerative joint/disc disease, joint replacements, other conditions involving the extremities including shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, back, ankle and foot.

  • Athletes

Page Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy is equipped to work with athletes of all ages and level of play from youth programs to high school to college to professional athletes. The main goal is to return the athlete to their prior level of function as quickly and safely as possible. Sport specific rehabilitation and training methods are used to prevent reoccurrence of injuries.

  • Manual Therapy

Page Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy utilizes a combination of manual therapy techniques to treat injured patients. Several of these techniques include but are not limited to deep tissue massage, joint mobilization, high velocity manipulation, transverse friction massage, soft tissue stretching, and retrograde massage. Based on patient need, a specific manual technique will be used.

  • Seniors

There is recognition for the need to maintain the quality of life among the area’s senior citizens who would like to enjoy an active, pain free lifestyle. Seniors with back/neck/shoulder and knee pain and/or those receiving joint replacements or other surgical procedures are treated using specific modalities/manual techniques/strengthening based on individual needs.

Insurance affiliations

In New York State a referral from a physician, podiatrist, or dentist is required before treatment unless the patient is Direct Access. Prior authorization by the insurance carrier may be required before treatment. Most insurance companies require a copay or a percentage for each date of service to be paid by the patient. No Fault and Worker’s Compensation require no fee as long as there is approval for treatment.
